These coasters are SUPER easy and would make great gifts. All you need to do is purchase some 4x4 tiles at any hardware store, I found these at Lowes for .16ea. Next, you will need to get some decorative cardstock, Mod Podge, foam brushes, rubber cement, and felt. You will need to cut out your cardstock into 3 1/2x 3 1/2 squares, just small enough to leave a border of tile around the paper. Attach the cardstock to the tile with a thin layer of Mod Podge, then add a thin layer on top to coat entire surface as well. Let this dry for 20 minutes and then repeat. Continue doing this four or five times to coat it well. Let the coasters set overnight and then add felt backing. I cut mine the same size as the cardstock and adhered with rubber cement to the back!
